Refund policy
1. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, do not belong to any Member State of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address are outside the European Union.
2. Withdrawal Instructions
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days:
for service contracts: from the day of conclusion of the contract.

by means of a clear statement, for example by email or post, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form attached below, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than within fourteen (14) days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of the exercise of your right of withdrawal in relation to this contract, compared with the total scope of services provided for in the contract. Compensation for value requires that you expressly requested that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires.
For Goods
For contracts for goods, we may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back.
You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than within fourteen (14) days from withdrawal.
You shall bear the return shipping costs.
You only have to pay for any loss in value if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.
For Services
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of the exercise of your right of withdrawal in relation to this contract, compared with the total scope of services provided for in the contract.
Special Notes
The subject matter of the contract is the performance of the water analysis commissioned by you. For this purpose, we provide you with the sample containers required for sampling, receive the sample sent in by you, and analyze it according to the scope of analysis booked by you.
The sample containers provided by Klar2O are sterile and sealed. They serve exclusively for the performance of the commissioned water analysis. Please note that unsealed, opened, or already filled sample containers are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection and hygiene.
If you expressly request that we begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period expires, we may, in particular, send sample containers, process your order, register receipt of the sample, prepare the analysis, and begin laboratory analysis before the withdrawal period expires.
By unsealing, opening, or filling the sample containers and returning them to Klar2O, performance of the commissioned service may already have begun in whole or in part. If you withdraw from the contract after this point, you owe the statutory compensation for the value of the services already provided up to the withdrawal.
Exclusion or Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers outside the EU, see above.
In the case of a contract for services, the right of withdrawal expires once we have fully performed the service and only began performing the service after you gave your express consent and at the same time confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract by us.
General Notes
After withdrawal, please only return sample containers that you have already received but not yet used if we ask you to do so. This is not a prerequisite for effectively exercising your right of withdrawal.
Please return your sample containers in the original packaging.
